What a wonderful pair. These two are mother and son and come from a remote S.Cal. area where the 'nearest' recognizable town is Barstow - now that's remote! lol They were living happily ever after when their mom had to go to a nursing home - oh no! They were 'shelter bound' as the family couldn't rightly provide for them so we had to really work the transport network to get them a ride to safety. Ok, we mostly had to make sure that the axles were strong enough on the truck to haul Chub's big 'tail' outta the mountains! Yes, a diet is in order along with a regular exercise program for their continued good health. We'd hoped to have more information on them - real ages, health histories, etc. - but we just have two wonderful, healthy dogs - that's enough I'd say! Neither are seniors, I'd say Chubs is about 5 and his mom is then probably 7 - but she doesn't seem even that old! If you're looking for a pair that you don't have to feed for a year or so (KIDDING!) - call about Chubs and Kiska!
