"Colonel"
Well, we've enjoyed him for a week now...this is the 'perfect' rescued dog! His house manners are fantastic, he does not bark outside, he doesn't get on the counters or chase the cat. He doesn't have any behavioral or temperment issues. He just needed a home. While there is much evidence of past flea infestations, he no longer has fleas or any fresh irritations. He is by all appearances healthy and happy. The vet gave him the A-OK as well! He is estimated to be 2 yrs. old. This boy will acclimate to virtually any new family quickly and easily. Um, he's the one in the back...lol This lucky guy only looks sad 'cause he didn't know that we were on our way to save him! It's a long haul to the Bakersfield shelter for us, in many ways, but obviously, he's worth it. Real pictures are coming soon. He's healthy, a good boy - not a puppy but not old either. More as we get to know him better...
