"Eddie"
Eddie passed away during a nap on 11/8/02 - a calm fall morning perfect for napping after a storm the day before...we're so grateful that he didn't die two weeks earlier while in the shelter, who estimated his age at about ten years old. He got to spend time here romping with the pack in the front fields, playing, supervising and snoozing. What's really sad though is that he had a family interested in adopting him set to come this weekend. We are proud to have been able to give him some quality time...

This angel found himself at the same remote shelter in S.Cal. at the same time as little Andy! Luck boys - we had two volunteers at the ready to spend two days driving 1,200 miles to bail their fluffy tails out of the brink! lol Hey, this isn't always easy, but isn't it worth it!!?? Just look at that happy smile - Eddie knew he was safe (he was busy watching the Sammies playing in the field and wanted to get done with pictures and get started on the socializing!) He's a wonderful boy who fit right into our mega pack. Not a fighter nor a barker, he's a sweet, easy going boy just on the lookout for a Forever Home!
