Why is Katie STILL here??? She's highly adoptable and truly wonderful with kids, cats - perfect health, beautiful and well behaved. Everyone has been missing out on this girl - she's easily the most adoptable dog we have.
What a true gem! This girl is so happy to be rescued from the shelter in Riverside, Ca - all she does is Smile! She loves all the other dogs, children young and older, going on scooter rides with Steven and of course, her photo shoot! Well, she didn't like the bath too much, but she endured like the Sammy Princess she is! A unique trait about her is the obvious lighter pigment than we're used to seeing. While her thick coat is all white (except some ear biscuit shading), her pigment areas (eyes, lips, tummy polka dots) are all a tan/liver shade. Her eyes are golden. This does happen with Sammies as it's just a genetic color flaw. She's only about 1.5 yrs old and she found herself in a shelter after recently having had puppies (approximately 4 mos. ago.) She will be growing a longer coat in the coming weeks, but is already 1/2 way there after blowing due to the pups (normal.) She has zero health issues and zero temperment/socialization issues. She does need some basic obedience work but is a very smart and willing girl, so it will be a joy to do. A secure fence is in order as she will test a fence line looking to go for an Unauthorized Self Walk. The Test Kitty knows I'm looking for him, so he's hiding appropriately...sigh...
