"Nakita"
This beautiful boy is a special needs Sammy in that he was born with hip dysplasia. Fortunately, he compensates with great muscle and ligament strength and adaptation from his lifelong malady. He is on an inexpensive glucosamine/chondroitin supplement available from CostCo and is able to run, jump on the couch or in the car, play with the other dogs and swim. He's gangly, but he gets around beautifully. He's completely housetrained, leash trained, loves kids (he used to 'work' at a daycare center!) and is great with cats and other critters. We can't say enough great stuff about him! Larry wants him to stay with us, but I think he can do better than having to share a family with other dogs - I think he can rustle up a great home of his own - don't you? We will be here for the support of this dog for his entire life - he's only about 5 yrs. old now. I know you'll love him as much as we do (oh, and he's a HUGE 'talker' who LOVES to be groomed - no kidding!)
