Princess is looking for a new home. You see, her owner is having some health problems and needs to seek assistance for Princess' future. If you're looking for a very special girl and live in or near the San Francisco Bay Area (so Princess' current mom can keep in touch!), please consider this wonderful girl!

We never will understand how a family can take a wonderful girl like Princess to the animal shelters! Well, she was, and fortunately, we were able to get to her in time - no small feat as she was in the Bakersfield area! Due to the help of several wonderful volunteers, she was bailed from the pound and transported to us in Redding - and even had a little camping trip en route where she went down waterslides and scared off bears! She also played with the other dogs and the kids. However, like most Sammies, she preferred to be IN the car, camping or not :o) She had a lovely trip and has been very good since arriving here as well. She is by all accounts healthy and happy. She is a might heavy, but it won't take any time at all for her to become fit and trim with proper diet and activity. She's blowing her coat, but it's so heavy and full that even out of coat, I think she'll have plenty to go around. Give me a little time to get to know her better and I can tell you more...drop us a line for an update!
Update: She's wonderful, incredible, perfect. She's quite young apparently - but no longer a puppy. She does tons of tricks and is outright brilliant, when it comes to Snack Food Items anyway. She's obviously been spoiled rotten and is worthy of continuing to be spoiled! More pictures coming soon - but take it from me, she's a thing of beauty, heart, body and soul.

Princess is well loved in the San Francisco Bay Area after a very short stint in Rescue. She is helping her new family over the recent loss of their family Sam for the last 15 years! Way to go, Princess!
